Grateful Eggs…

laid by hippy “chicks”

We started out by establishing gardens in 2002 and adding a small flock of chickens for eggs (and fertilizer) in 2003. Things just evolved from there, as our love and passion for this healthy way of life grew. Each year, we would add more laying hens due to the demand for good eggs. They are easy to keep, are versatile, efficient, provide incredible fertilizer and are fun to watch. We have worked hard with our feed company to dial in an organic feed that is free of soy & corn. This allows us to offer high quality, organic eggs that even people with soy and corn allergies can enjoy! The absence of soy also helps to boost the omega 3 proteins, which is what we want!
